I am a freelance writer who writes feature stories for newspapers and magazines, as well as engaging content for business and causes.

Between April 2019 and April 2020, I was the recipient one of the inaugural Walkley Grants for Freelance Journalists, which has resulted in six published stories about school fundraising (with two more in the pipeline).

Though I’m more proficient when holding a pen than behind a camera, I have a good eye for a photo so most of the non-stock photographs you’ll see accompanying the articles are mine.

I am also a photographer for dance schools, ballet teacher, administrator and, in the not too distant past, a research administrator and health professional.

After moving to near Byron Bay a few years ago, I have discovered the joys of chai, flying trapeze and river floating.
